THE STORY

I met Gary Paker, President of Cinamaker when he judged a pitch competition I entered for my startup Vlux. When Gary asked if I'd be interested in helping to market Cinamaker to people in my age bracket, the answer was unquestionably yes...

But the interface did not feel very intuitive, and reminded me an older version of  Windows. It was then that I took it upon myself to design an apple-esque rendition of thier current interface, with a few tweaks for convenience, and presented it to Gary.

Gary introduced me to Ben, the core founder and CEO, and we hit it off. They hired me to do a complete re-design of the app, and develop an approachable on-boarding process for the app.

I enjoyed *almost* every minute of this project. Great product, good people,

and growth.

Intuitive

Simple is better. The user is able to pick up and use this tool with ease, regardless of their experience level

Inspired by Final Cut Pro X, every element critiqued for a detailed approach to simple.

Live interactive elements, right where you want them. Color coded highlights to accelerate user workflow.

Conclusion

This project was an absolute pleasure to work on. I'm grateful for the opportunity to create value and beauty that touches so many. I can't wait for the next opportunity of this caliber that crosses my path.

Thank you Gary.
